Voting in the Efma-Accenture Innovation in Insurance Awards closes on 11 May
There are only a few days left to acknowledge some of the leading innovators in the global insurance industry.
Voting in this year’s Efma-Accenture Innovation in Insurance Awards closes on 11 May. All Efma members, as well as non-members active in the insurance industry, can participate and select the innovations they believe are setting the pace in the industry.
The response to this year’s awards has been outstanding. A staggering 320 entries have been submitted by 237 organizations in 45 countries. This is a big increase on last year.
One of the reasons for the leap in submissions is the introduction this year of an insurtech category in the awards which has attracted close to 100 insurtech firms .Many of them are displaying considerable ingenuity and creativity. It’s clear that insurtech companies are accelerating innovation in the insurance sector.
There was also good support for the other categories in the Efma-Accenture Innovation in Insurance Awards:
- Artificial Intelligence.
- Best Disruptive Produce or Service.
- Claims Management.
- Connected Insurance and Ecosystems.
- Customer Experience and Engagement.
- Global Innovator.
A shortlist in each of the eight categories has been drawn up by a panel of independent senior insurance executives. The votes of these judges will be combined with the votes received online to determine the winners in each category. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Paris on 12 June.Click on the link below to see the insurance innovators that have been selected for the shortlists.
