Heather Sullivan is a Managing Director at Accenture where she spends her time driving new business endeavors on behalf of carriers, brokers, MGAs, private equity organizations and start-ups. She has built a reputation on developing new products and services that have resulted in deeper agency engagement and customer value. A dynamic, results oriented insurance executive, Heather brings that passion alongside a transformative and innovative style to help organizations understand agency needs, wants, desires, motivators and, ultimately, how to achieve market success.
Prior to fully committing to a career in insurance, Heather held leadership positions at a youth engagement organization focused on gang prevention and rehabilitation. The mission of the organization is rooted in creating economic opportunity that paves a path for ongoing financial and social independence. It was there where Heather crafted the blueprint for a complex insurance program to insure non-traditional risks posed by employing active gang affiliated members. Heather holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Southern California.
Heather actively involved in her local community. She serves on the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters, Chicago chapter, is an appointed advisor to the Early Intervention Program at Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind, serves on the board of CHAP, and is a sponsor for high school junior and senior Girl Scout Gold Award candidates, as a Gold Award recipient herself.
Additionally, Heather serves several global roles within Accenture, including as the executive sponsor for Accenture’s Insurance Strategy diversity and inclusion efforts that support the global Accenture goal of a 50/50 workforce by 2025.
Heather resides in Chicago with her husband, daughter and son, and very lively Portuguese Water Dog.
