Voting has opened for the 2019 Efma-Accenture Innovation in Insurance Awards. It closes on 17 May.
Voting is now open for this year’s Efma-Accenture Innovation in Insurance Awards. Take a look at the nominees for the six prestigious category-awards on the Efma website. Then cast your votes for the insurance products and solutions you think are the most original, will create the biggest impact, and can be best applied across a variety of markets and countries.
This is your opportunity to recognize and celebrate the leading innovators in the insurance industry around the world. The annual Efma-Accenture Innovation in Insurance Awards showcase the most exciting and effective innovations that are using emerging technologies to shape the future of the insurance industry.
Don’t delay. Voting closes on 17 May. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Amsterdam on 24 June. This year’s Efma-Accenture Innovation in Insurance Awards have attracted just under 400 submissions from 287 organization in 54 countries. A short list of contenders has been drawn for you to cast your votes – see below.
On-line voting is open to Efma members as well as non-members. What’s more, these votes have a big say in which companies come out tops. They count for half of each nominee’s assessment. The other half comes from the votes awarded by an awards jury that comprises senior insurance executives from across the world.
The awards jury is also responsible for selecting the Global Innovator of the year. The winner of this top accolade is chosen from among the leading nominees in the six awards categories. Japan’s Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance was named the Global Innovator of the year in 2018. AXA and Generali were the winners in 2016 and 2017.

The audience will then cast their votes and the winner will announced at the event. The awards ceremony will culminate in the announcement of the Global Innovator of the year.
