Interbrand has just ranked Accenture #37 on its Best Global Brands 2016 list, giving us the highest ranking on the list that we have ever received. Interbrand, a global brand agency specializing in brand strategy, creativity and technology, publishes the highly influential Best Global Brands and Breakthrough Brands reports annually.
Interbrand’s methodology aims to provide a clear picture of how a brand contributes to business growth today, and how it plans to deliver further growth tomorrow. For their annual Best Global Brands list, Interbrand factors in three key components:
- Financial Analysis, based on the overall financial return to an organization’s investors.
- Role of Brand, based on the portion of the purchase decision that is attributable to the brand itself, as opposed to other factors.
- Brand Strength, based on the brand’s ability to create loyalty and thus, sustainable profit into the future.
With the #37 rating, Accenture has broken into the top 40 of global brands, up from #42 in 2015. What’s more, Accenture’s brand value increased 11 percent from $10.8 billion to $12.033 billion. This makes 2016 our sixth consecutive year of brand growth.
The ranking provides further evidence that, in the words of our Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Roxanne Taylor, “We continue to grow and evolve our business organically—as evidenced by the double-digit revenue growth we have delivered in the past two fiscal years. In addition, we continue to make significant investments in our business, including investing more than $930 million of capital in acquisitions during our most recent fiscal year 2016.”
As the only consulting firm on the prestigious list, we are more determined than ever to help our clients maximize their productivity and efficiency. To this end, we will continue to focus all of our efforts to enable our clients to become high-performance businesses and achieve their vision.
