J. Neely

J. works with clients on the operational aspects of many of the world’s largest mergers and divestitures, including early stage target assessment, due diligence, post-announcement planning and post-close execution. With more than 20 years of experience, he has led efforts across industries spanning consumer goods, OTC healthcare, pharmaceuticals, retail, services, building products, specialty chemicals and other manufactured goods sectors. He focuses on overall M&A leadership, operating model and organization design, value capture and change management.

Some of his published work includes: M&A: From Art to Science, Will You Be Mine in the Digital World, Deals That Win, The Capabilities Premium in M&A, and The Next Winning Move in Private Equity. He holds a Ph.D. in Technology, Management, and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. J. lives in Cleveland, OH with his wife and five children.
