Max Richter

During the early stages of his career with Accenture, Max worked in the P&C insurance industry on some of the largest policy administration and claims system implementations (and associated business change) delivered at that time, post-merger integration projects and IT advisory projects.

After 2006 he joined Detica, a data & analytics specialist company, initially with a remit to break into the UK insurance industry and then as Head of Detica NetReveal (SAAS - advance analytics counter fraud solution) across Europe. He led the creation of teams and charter clients across key European countries. Key focus areas were P&C insurance fraud, retail banking fraud and tax fraud.

He returned to Accenture in 2011, leading Accenture’s relationships with a number of its key P&C clients as Client Account Lead.

Max now spends most of his time advising P&C insurance clients on how to deal with the upcoming disruption from emerging technologies and trends such as cloud, cyber risk, IoT, Blockchain and also growing Accenture’s insurance analytics practice, which he now leads.

The industry is at an inflection point and Max is excited to be working with insurance clients to anticipate and develop strategies to address the challenges, and bring the best of Accenture.

Max grew up in Greece and has a degree in Management Science from the London School of Economics.
